Memo is a professional wildlife and documentary conservation photographer, a member of WWF Colombia's Team Panda, a Sony Alpha Partner and a global ambassador for Vanguard Photo.

His work consists of raising awareness, educating and promoting conservation at all levels through images. He is a photography professor and tour leader for trips with photographers in Latin America, works as a photographer on projects for government institutions and NGOs, and has been awarded in photography contests such as the Sony World Photography Awards, Bird Photographer of the Year, Agenda del Mar, Los Trabajos and Los días (First place in the Colombia Rural Work Category), finalist and Winner of the Colombia Environmental Contest (Fauna Category), among others.

Author of the book Naturaleza y Asombro and speaker at national and international photography and birdwatching events.
